Well, you are not saying if it is a project for the University, if it is a project for a friend or whether you are planning to release a product yourself.
Either way, it might help you to consider the use of an Active X control (some companies offer free trial versions), or take a look at some of the software development kits available (see first link below)
You can also take a look at how that approach has been taken. I think I have found you a couple of open source implementations (see second and third links)
I hope you enjoy your project and that it benefits you in some way.
